Fashion and Foursquare, a Perfect Fit

While location-based services like Foursquare and Gowalla are gaining serious traction on the social marketing scene, many fashion brands are still trying to come to terms with the potential of social media in general. Luckily, some retailers and brands have begun experimenting with mobile social marketing strategies.

H&M offering 10$ off for every check-in or Gap’s online ads dealing along with Foursquare buttons are – among others – good examples of Foursquare leveraging.

At Spotistic, we took 6 major American clothing brands and extracted their Foursquare data to see what we could get from them. Here is what we found.
